Arlin works as the Instructional Technology Specialist for Bellefonte Area School District. He began his career as a middle school science teacher and also taught biology and other high school science courses. A few years ago, Bellefonte made the move to GSuite for Education. One of Arlin’s primary responsibilities is working with teachers and students to effectively use apps and sites for teaching and learning. He enjoys removing barriers that make using technology frustrating. He also works with the district’s instructional technology coordinators and instructional technology coaches to identify needs, plan training sessions, and deliver professional learning. He is a Google for Education Certified Educator and Trainer. Outside of school, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, working in his yard and garden and cutting, splitting, and burning firewood.
