It has changed my way of thinking in so many ways for the better

The course inspired me to rework my curriculum and rethink my classroom approach for the better. Instructor went above and beyond to understand her students, provide extra resources, and design assignments to enhance learning. This course was grounded on PBL so it was very nice to have an instructor teach us PBL through the example of her course and practices. Most of all, the instructor provided evaluation, comments, and feedback like no other. Her dedication to our learning by her constant involvement, thorough feedback, and in depth responses held us all accountable to do the same and made my work feel much value. I learned so much more because she took the time to evaluate everything we did and give us quality feedback to improve. She is a fabulous example of a teacher and a very reasonable/understanding professor!

I plan to use lots of the resources in my classroom.

I loved how practical this course was. I took it over the summer, but had I taken it during the school year, I easily could have used what I learned in this class the next day in my classroom.

The most valuable part of this course was the feedback I received from Dayna.

I liked how the summative assessment was a unit that I could implement in my classroom.

I plan to use the PBL unit I created for the course in my classroom. I am also looking at planning other units with the PBL principles in mind.

The final PBL unit is very valuable and I plan on using it early on in this school year.

I found this course to be challenging and thought-provoking. The workload was a lot for a four-week course, but the materials/assignments were high-quality and practical. Dayna Lauer was very accessible and extremely specific and timely with her feedback.

I plan to take what I have learned back to my classroom, school, and district in hopes to develop a district-wide coding plan K-12 so our learners have exposure to coding throughout their school careers.

I feel the most valuable part of the course was the exploration of a variety of plugged and unplugged activities to use within the classroom, as well as reviewing so many different programs. It gave you insight to a diverse collection of resources.

I truly learned a lot about coding and computational thinking in the classroom throughout this course. Ken Kay is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and provided excellent, in-depth feedback for every assignment.
