The information we learned on copyright and fair use laws was very beneficial and new information for me. I liked that all modules were open and you could work at a pace that was appropriate for you and the instructor was very flexible with due dates. As a busy teacher this was truly appreciated.

The examples of genocide in history and the graphic yet eye-opening material assigned in order for us to appreciate the subject matter.

I initially was hesitant about taking the course because it was scheduled over the holiday. Once the class began, I was a bit uneasy with the content. Now, after finishing the course, I have a greater appreciation of the subject. I have learned so much, and yet have so much more to learn. This is a course everyone should take. It isn't only about the Holocaust, but about how we, as people, treat one another.

Moving forward, I want to do more multimedia projects with my kids to see what they know. This course helped me to find tools that worked for my students.

I think the introduction of new tools was very valuable. There are several tools that were introduced that I did not know about so now I can use these in my classroom.

I felt that this course had a lot of hands on application and I felt it was very useful to apply it in my own classroom. In this course, we would complete an assignment and then we would have our students complete a similar assignment. This helped to make sure we could see the benefit to using these multimedia tools with our students.

I now know what should and shouldn't be presented in a classroom about this period of history.

The topics chosen for this course really helped me to understand the Holocaust at a much deeper level. I feel that I now know enough about this subject to present it to students in a meaningful and informative way.
