This class was very informative and gave me real life experience on how to use the iPad in my classroom.

I have never enjoyed a Grad class as much as this one!! It is so relevant to teaching today and so exciting to see creativity coming back to the classroom. I'll be sharing this info with many teachers as we roll out iPads in our Autistic Support classrooms next school year!

As a teacher who sees the need for secondary teachers to "get prepared" for incoming students who have been using iPads for years in the classroom, I feel that this course has moved me effectively and efficiently in the right directions to begin to implement the iPad in my lessons and a starting place to expand my knowledge.

This has been one of the most valuable post- Master's classes I have taken. It involved a great deal of new learning, with assignments which enhanced the learning, instead of "busy work", which some classes have had. The instructors were not only knowledgable, but amazingly helpful. No question or request was too small.

I love this class because I will be able to use 100% of what I learned in my classroom

This is my first experience with an iPad and I have learned A TON of information that I can take back to my school district.

This course has changed my way of looking at how, what, and why I'm teaching a lesson. I have recently completed 54 of 60 Doctoral degree credits, and this ranks up there hovering around first place. The intensity was overwhelming at first, but necessary to achieve a level of proficiency that has enabled me to completely change the way I view and use technology, although I wouldn't have believed that a few short weeks ago!

Mr. Gates was amazing, engaging, and knowlegeable.

Mr. Gates was wonderful. I was very nervous starting the class (because I never used an ipad before), and the first thing he said was "There will be no stress". This was very helpful for me to relax. He did a great job explaining apps and interacting with us throughout the class. Mr. Gates was considerate of our levels of stress. He asked for feedback and listened to our thoughts and feelings about assignments.

Mr. Gates is amazing. His knowledge and personality made him a joy to be around.

Jim was great! He is a very talented instructor who is full of knowledge.

This course was even more eye-opening than I thought it would be. The time spent being introduced and taught such productive and efficient apps was priceless. My own personal ability with the iPad has grown tenfold and I am excited to see what I am going to be able to come up with for my classroom!

Mr. Gates was always very helpful. If I emailed him with a question or concern, he always replied quickly.

Very well done. Gave me information I will need to carefully choose apps to use in my classroom. They showed us the pros and cons to different uses of the apps. They also taught me how to better incorporate the iPad into my classroom. I left the class so much more knowledgeable than when I arrived. I would recommend this class to any educator who is using iPads in education.

Mr. Gates was wonderful! I couldn't have asked for a better teacher. He was very patient, kind and understanding. He made everyone feel relaxed and comfortable.
