My hope is that it will decrease anxiety, depression, and other classroom disruptions. I think it will be huge for my students to find tools to help them handle their lives better. I am looking forward to giving these students the tools and watching them grow academically, socially and emotionally.

It was a great introduction to mindfulness with a tremendous amount of resources. I like that while we were looking for strategies to help our students and even bigger part was taking care of ourselves and finding mindful practices that we can personally use.

I hope to use mindful strategies in the classroom and help my students with emotional regulation.

I really enjoyed this course. It was the perfect course for me to take, as I was a little confused about the portfolio requirement for the Master's program. Mara cleared everything up for me and guided me in creating a wonderful portfolio.
