This course not only gave me a lot of tools and ideas for my classroom, but it also provided me with a lot of valuable strategies to help me with my own life. I really felt that this was much more than a course for credits. It was truly a change in mindset and lifestyle!

I will begin by teaching quick breathing practices that students can learn in the classroom, have them research their own mindful activities

The tools to approach my classroom in a whole new light, with true integrity, respect, and empathy.

I believe mindful practices in the classroom will create a sense of direction without volatile exchanges. With discipline being an issue in the classroom, the course has given me tools to step back, breathe and to choose a response, instead of reacting. I will be able to share these tools with my students, and expect my classroom to be more collaborative, collective, and yet on a very individual path.

This course provides insight of how to bring Mindfulness into our own lives and into the classroom. The benefits will help each student as we find ways to teach the whole child.

I created three lessons to use in the classroom.

The lessons in correspondence with the KTI were valuable in pulling everything together.

I have upgraded my lessons on the SAMR model which I may not have had time to do during the school year. Therefore, it accelerated my progress.

A great way to reflect on my teaching practice and newly learned skill sets.

I definitely plan on bringing all of these projects that I designed into the classroom this year.
