Infrastructure and Technology Planning for Today's Schools, a New Course from Eduspire

Posted Date: Jun 09, 2017

For the first time ever this July, Wilson College and Eduspire bring Infrastructure and Technology Planning for Today's Schools to the summer course calendar.

Conveniently offered online and co-taught by the excellent Traci Landry and David Sweigert, this exciting course will prepare educators for building the necessary foundation for supporting technology initiatives within their schools.

In a technologically advanced society, technology planning for schools has evolved drastically and is a vital consideration in all areas. Technology has changed how we function, and educational planning must follow suit in order to prepare our students for their future. Creating a sound infrastructure for your school or organization is vital to the successful integration of technology and daily workflow for employees.

With the guidance of two seasoned Technology Directors, students of this course will explore:

- Best practices and current industry standards for developing and maintaining their infrastructure
- Financial and Human Resources, and Software Applications
- Developing leadership techniques for working with all levels of the educational community to manage and administer instructional technology programs — all while adhering to policy and maintaining a secure environment for their staff and students
