Participants will be encouraged to further research books that blend with their school curriculum and develop projects and activities to be used in the classroom. Through the use and development of many new technology learning tools and applications, students will learn to extend literature through makerspace activities, design challenges, coding, QR codes, and augmented reality. Block and color coding will be demonstrated with the robots Dash, Sphero, Bee Bot and Ozobot. This course is perfect for elementary teachers, reading specialists, librarians, STEM educators or teachers of gifted students.
