“I think storytelling is all about children. We human beings love to hear stories being told - and it first happens when you're a kid.” quips David Chase an American writer, director and television producer. Ask a student to tell you about something they experienced and they will tell you a story. Storytelling has been used throughout time as a method to to convey truths, traditions, morality, fiction, and facts. In this course you will explore, evaluate, and apply the use of digital apps and storytelling tools to engage your students in your curriculum. “Tell me the facts and I’ll learn. Tell me the truth and I’ll believe. But tell me a story and it will live in my heart forever.” An old Native American proverb.
