I graduated from Lock Haven University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. I then pursued a Master’s degree at Penn State in Health Education and a principal certification from Indiana University. Currently, I am working on finalizing my Master of Educational Technology degree. Prior to this year, I had taught health and physical education at the middle and high school level for the last 8 years. In the first 4 years, I taught for two different school districts before accepting a position at my alma mater, Halifax. This year is my first year as a K-4 health and physical education teacher. I also teach a college in the high school health education course through HACC to seniors. I live in Halifax with my husband, two boys (7 and 4), and dog. When I am not teaching or learning myself, I enjoy spending time with my family, doing anything outside, playing sports, exercising, hunting & fishing, traveling, and reading.
