Michele Litten has been an Elementary Teacher for over 15 years. She currently is teaching 5th grade Math at Bellefonte Area School District. Math has become a new love of hers, and she enjoys meeting the needs of her students through a guided math approach. Prior to teaching 5th grade Math she was a 3rd grade teacher, a 5th grade Reading teacher, and 4th-7th grade Science teacher. She received a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Lock Haven University and her Masters in Education from Indiana Wesleyan University. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, reading, and playing with her two dogs. She continues her love for teaching outside of school by teaching Sunday School and helping with an Awana’s program at her church.
