I have had many different roles throughout my education journey. I began teaching Social Studies at a High School in Fayetteville, NC and moved to teaching middle school Social Studies in Eden, NC. After 9 years of teaching, I moved to Charlotte, NC to work as a Professional Development Specialist at a middle school. Currently, I am working as an Instructional Technology Specialist for North Allegheny School District in Pittsburgh, PA. During this time, I have led or assisted with the implementation of 1:1 laptop initiatives in three school districts.
I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with degrees in Business and History. I received my M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Averett University and my K-12 Principal Certification from Duquesne University. I earned my doctorate in Instructional Design and Leadership from Duquesne University as well.
