This course was great. I generally dread taking Education graduate courses because it's usually the same thing that was taught ten years ago, but re-branded. However, this class was very informative, useful, and overall interesting. I think Jolene organized it in a very thoughtful way, providing both the historical background for technology's impact through the ages and allowing us to really delve into how technology is impacting students today. Jolene Erlacher was also very supportive throughout the course. I had to contact her on more than one occasion, due to my own ineptitude at technology, but she was both patient and helpful with my struggles.

I really enjoyed the face to face time with my professor and classmates, despite this being an online course. It was helpful to see his screen as he walked us through things on various websites and apps. I was very intimidated at first because I am a kindergarten teacher and we don't have Chromebooks at the elementary level. I had wondered if this class would really be of any value to me. I am pleased to say that I am walking away with a wide variety of new technology tools under my belt that I am eager to try in my classroom and share with my colleagues. I would highly recommend this class to my peers.
