Elementary 2-3 Grade
Hi! I'm Katie Hess and have been an early childhood educator for the past 18 years. I have a masters degree in early childhood education from Millersville University and a reading specialty certification from Kutztown University. My professional experiences include teaching kindergarten, first, and second grade, both in Lancaster and Berks counties. Besides early childhood education, I am passionate about integrating purposeful technology into my instruction. I recently became a certified Apple Teacher, Google Certified Educator, and Seesaw Ambassador. My husband, daughter, and I enjoy traveling and exploring new places (especially those with beach access). We also enjoy our down time at home with our shelter-rescued pets and spoiled golden retriever. Fun fact! I was a contestant on the show Wheel of Fortune and won a trip to Hawaii!
