Dr. Patty McGinnis is a National Board Certified Teacher with over 25 years of teaching experience. Her interests include the use of technology in supporting science practices. Patty is a frequent presenter at science conferences, has authored several articles related to science teaching, and currently serves as editor of "Science Scope," the National Science Teacher Association’s award-winning journal for middle school science educators. She is also the co-author of "Be a Winner! A Science Teacher’s Guide to Writing Successful Grant Proposals." Her educational background includes an Ed. D. in Educational Technology and graduate degrees in the fields of Biology, Education, and Educational Technology.
