Matthew Heckmann

Matt Heckmann is currently an Instructional Technology Integrator for the North Allegheny School District. Prior to his current position, Matt was a 6th grade classroom teacher in Fairfax County Public Schools in Northern Virginia. He has a passion for integrating technology into the classroom in order to enhance and transform the learning environment. Matt specializes in formative assessment pedagogy, the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework, the SAMR model, and instructional technology tools. He looks forward to working with all teachers, to help them create meaningful teaching and learning opportunities in the classroom!
