After teaching for 35 years, Vicki retired from Hempfield High School as a Technology Integration Specialist. Vicki started her teaching career as a science teacher. Her family calls her a perpetual student, she has two Masters Degree in one in Biology and one in Geoenvironmental Science along with her Specialist Certificate for Instructional Techology and a certificate for teaching ESL. During her last 6 years of teaching, she worked very closely with the ESL department to help ELLs gain English acquisition while having fun learning technology skills. Besides travel, her hobbies include cooking, gardening for wildlife, assisting Tri-State Basset Hound Rescue to find new homes for hounds, working on MG Midgets with her Dad and making fairy gardens.
