Rachel Smith is a literacy coach in the Twin Valley School District, but first and foremost she is a teacher at heart. She is most alive when challenging a room full of teenagers to engage with language, learning, and each other in ways that encourage measurable academic and personal growth. For ten years she has worked at Twin Valley Middle School, as a part of innovative team of teachers who often work across curriculums to help students see the way their learning and their world are connected.
