Eduspire’s courses are offered by Wilson College as graduate-level courses, and most courses can also be taken as part of the Master of Educational Technology (MET) degree program.

Explores the use of social media as an educational tool to enhance the learning environment and to create connected learning communities. Examines social media platforms such as Twitter, Diigo, LinkedIn, Google+, and more. Examine pros and cons for various social media platforms.

This course provides administrators, teachers, and other education professionals the competencies to connect, collaborate and create a personal learning network. Participants will leverage the power of social media to build a connected community which enhances the learning environment for themselves and for their students. Each participant will have the opportunity to construct his or her community within several platforms such as Twitter, Diigo, Google+, LinkedIn, and other social media outlets.
