[Formerly titled Google Apps for the Science Classroom]

Think you know Google? We have moved way beyond search. Google Apps for Education (GAFE) is becoming one of the most important curricular tools in education - join us to learn best practices in applying these tools. Using the SAMR model as a pedagogical lens and foundation, we will examine the Google suite of tools and how they can be applied to the science classroom. We will utilize Docs, Sheets, Presentations, Blogs, Sites, Forms, and more. Your science classroom can be transformed into a collaborative learning environment where students can solve problems, conduct research, and communicate effectively. Participants will develop lesson plans to accompany the use of these tools including Google Classroom. At the culmination of the course, you will use Google Apps For Education to create a lab report representative of skills learned throughout the course.

*Access to Google Classroom is a requirement for this course.

*Participants in this course will have several mandatory, synchronous, video conference sessions. The dates and times are listed on each course registration page.
