Eduspire’s courses are offered by Wilson College as graduate-level courses, and most courses can also be taken as part of the Master of Educational Technology (MET) degree program.

This course facilitates a deeper understanding of Pennsylvania’s Common Core English Language Arts (ELA) standards. It presents effective teaching and learning strategies using non-fiction and content reading for grades K-6, as well as how to apply student work protocols, cross-curricular instruction, and targeted feedback to formatively assess and plan further instruction while leveraging the range of technology available to teachers.

This course will enable elementary educators to incorporate non-fiction instruction into their classrooms, while engaging students as 21st century learners using authentic technology integration. Gain a deeper understanding of PA’s Common Core ELA standards, effective teaching and learning strategies, and student work protocols in order to formatively assess students and plan further instruction, all the while leveraging the technology available to you.
