MET Program Interview: Naomi Rupert

 

Wilson College in partnership with Eduspire would like to feature some of its recent graduates from the Master of Educational Technology degree program as they share about their unique experiences.

 

Meet Naomi Rupert, a librarian in PA's Bellefonte Area School District. 

 

Q: Naomi, what have you enjoyed most about the MET program?

A: "The flexibility to choose classes that work the best for what you teach."

 

Q: How has the MET impacted your classroom instruction?

A: "I have learned so many new skills! I can take what I have learned (and what I have created) and directly apply it to my field."

 

Q: Has there been an instructor in the MET program who you found particularly outstanding (and why)?

A: "Dr. Saylor. She was the most hands-on and supportive."

 

Q: How has the MET program helped you to achieve your career goals?

A: "It has helped me further my knowledge of the technology I WANT to use in my classroom."

 

Q: Would you recommend the MET program to a colleague, and why?

A: "Yes. The program was designed to be what I NEEDED by allowing students to choose courses that meet their needs."
