Multimedia EDU 927 Multimedia Classrooms

Eduspire’s courses are offered by Wilson College as individual 3-credit graduate-level courses, and most courses can also be taken as part of the Master of Educational Technology (MET) degree program.

Learn best practices in efficiently creating and manipulating audio, video and image content for the classroom.  Investigate and evaluate options that provide cutting-edge technical and educational solutions to educators, empowering them and their students to develop authentic, engaging, and relevant digital learning while abiding by Fair Use Copyright Laws.

Participants in this course will develop a deep understanding of Fair Use Laws and Creative Commons Movement as they relate to digital content creation within multimedia projects.  Students will develop a lesson on teaching Fair Use Laws in their own classrooms. Students will create at least three multimedia projects that can be used in the instructional setting. Participants will analyze and share each other’s works and gain an understanding of the importance of media in today’s learning environments. Furthermore, curating tools will be examined and leveraged for content creations.

*Participants in this course will have mandatory, synchronous, video conference sessions. The dates and times are listed on each course registration page.
